Valley Groove Productions dba Mountaineer Brewfest, is recognized as a public charity under Internal Revenue Code section 501 (c) (3). Proceeds from this event benefit local Wheeling, WV charities which are selected by the Mountaineer Brewfest Committee yearly. Our mission is: To promote West Virginia’s unique and growing industry of craft and microbreweries To provide the public an opportunity to learn about West Virginia’s craft and microbrewers and their products To create a venue for West Virginia’s craft and microbrewers to promote their products To provide the best in Entertainment, Food, and Merchandise from West Virginia’s Northern Panhandle all within a relaxed atmosphere. To encourage community within the city of Wheeling by: Working with local officials and businesses to provide a sustainable event By donating festival proceeds to local charities
