Children's Acting Classes

We are pleased to offer acting classes for area students to be held on Saturday mornings beginning on October 12, and running through December 7.  (There will not be classes on Saturday, November 30.) The classes will present a showcase to the public on December 7 at 2:00pm.  Sadie Crow will lead two sessions: 
Session 1 (Kindergarten-Grade 4) will meet from 8:30am-10:00am.  Tuition for younger students is $60.  Session 2 (Grades 5-8) will meet from 10:00am-12:00pm. Tuition for older students is $80. 
Sadie Crow has been performing in the Ohio Valley for over 15 years, beginning at the Strand’s children’s workshops when she was 11 years old. After graduating from Wheeling Park High School in 2011, where she was a captain of the championship speech team and president of the WPHS chapter International Thespian Society, she went on to study English at West Virginia University where she graduated summa cum laude in 2015. Before moving back to the Ohio Valley, Sadie earned a Master of Arts degree in English from Duquesne University, where she taught composition and rhetoric. Locally, Sadie has performed with the Strand, Towngate Theatre, and the Independent Theatre Collective, as well as Pittsburgh companies Little Lake Theatre, Duquesne Red Masquers, and Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks.
